Library Services
The Dubuque County Library opened the doors of their new library branch in Asbury, September 2, 2009. The library hours are Monday through Thursday from 1 pm to 8 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm. The library is closed on Fridays and Sundays. Phone: 563.582.0008.
The library is conveniently located at 5900 Saratoga Plaza behind the Asbury Eagles Club. The library houses 18,000 books and is operating under a lease approved by the Dubuque County Library and the City of Asbury.
Books aren't the only things available at the Asbury branch. Other services and resources include: dvd's, audio books, copy machine, fax machines and computers with internet access. If you cannot find the book or reference material you are looking for, log onto www.dubcolib.lib.ia.us to see if it's located in the Dubuque County Library System that has over 52,000 items in its inventory.
The library also offers story time, activities for the youth of the community and free WiFi access.
