The City of Asbury maintains three large parks and a pedestrian trail.

 

Asbury Park is located on Asbury Road at the intersection of Springreen Drive on Asbury Road.  The Park hours are 9 AM - 10 PM.  Asbury Park has a baseball diamond, basketball court, two tennis courts and two hard surface volleyball courts, all of which are lighted.  Asbury Park also has swings, slides, tot toys, picnic tables, grills, restrooms, a sand volleyball court and two open-air pavilions.

 

  To rent the pavilion please contact Asbury City Hall at 563.556.7106.  The Pavilions can be rented and the costs are as follows:

            Wagner Pavilion (holds up to 65 people)            $40 for a half day and $80 for a full day.

            Sullivan Pavilion (holds up to 50 people)            $40 for a half day and $80 for a full day.

            

            Half day rental times:  9 AM - 3 PM or 4 PM - 10 PM

            Full day rental times:  9 AM - 10 PM

 Althaus Wetland and Nature Preserve is located at the end of Wintergreen Drive.  The wetland area is home to a large number of native grasses, cattails, butterfly garden and other native birds.  The city-wide trail system also connects from Althaus Wetland to Maple Hills Park.  Click here for a map of the trail system.  The City maintains over five miles of trails within the City's limits. 

 

Maple Hills Park is located at the end of Burr Oak Drive and has a softball diamond, tot lot and picnic tables.

 

There are also various neighborhood green spaces located throughout the City.  Pets are not allowed at any of the parks or trails located in Asbury.  Motor vehicles are also not allowed on trails.
