The City of Asbury will be accepting candidate filings for Mayor or Council Member starting Monday, August 28, 2023.  Candidates for election to city offices must be eligible electors of the city at the time of the election.  Any eligible elector is a person who is 18 years of age, a resident of the City of Asbury, United States citizen and has no felony convictions, or rights have been restored.  The City of Asbury Candidates are nominated by petition.  The minimum number of signatures is 25.  The last day to file candidate papers at City Hall is Thursday, September 21, 2023 no later than 5:00 p.m.
