Yard waste pick up starts on April 4, 2024 and ends on November 14, 2024.  24 Free yard waste tags per property can be picked up at Asbury City Hall during normal business hours.  Additional yard tags can be purchased at City Hall, Farm & Fleet, Casey’s and Hy-Vee Asbury for $2.50 each or a sheet of 6 for $15.00. 

All yard waste must be placed in paper yard waste bags.  Bags must not spill or scatter contents, but stay confined within a size not to exceed thirty (30) gallons in volume or forty (40) pounds in weight, including the bag and contents. Bags can be purchased at Hy-Vee, Farm and Fleet and local hardware stores. 

The City will continue to accept bundles of trees, limbs, shrubs and brush trimmings securely tied with rope, together forming an easily handled package not exceeding four (4) feet in length and two (2) feet in diameter or sixty (60) pounds in weight.  Yard waste collection is limited to ten (10) bags or bundles per week. 

Please have all yard waste curbside with tags visible to the street by 6 AM on Thursdays.
