Construction related work for this year’s Asphalt Roadway & Trail Rehabilitation Project is set to begin in the Tuscany Ridge Subdivision as early as the week of July 21, 2025.

Following their work in the Tuscany Ridge Subdivision, work will progress in no particular order to the following locations:

  • Centura Court
  • Sandwedge Drive
  • Sandwedge Court
  • Asbury Road (East of Radford Road to City Limits)
  • Althaus Trail
  • Forest Hills Trail

Work on Asbury Road will require about a week of shut-down to thru-traffic. The Contractor intends to complete all work on Asbury Road prior to the start of the coming school year to minimize traffic impacts for local residents.

Existing public and private utilities will be marked throughout the project. These markings are used to identify utility conflicts and warn the Contractor to the presence of underground lines or piping. We ask that you please do not disturb the utility markings in any way. If you have questions regarding the utility markings, please contact Nate Stevenson with MSA (563) 581-5722.

Tschiggfrie Excavating and River City Paving intend to maintain vehicle access for all locally impacted residents throughout the construction process (except for the partial closure of Asbury Road). However, there may be short instances when construction equipment blocks vehicle access. Should equipment be in the way, please remain patient, as the contractor will move the equipment as soon as possible.

For residents living in the affected project areas, and for others that might normally travel throughout the listed areas, please use caution when traveling through construction zones as there will be some debris, equipment and personnel working at various times of the day.

Your patience is appreciated as Tschiggfrie Excavating, the City of Asbury and MSA work together for a timely completion of this project.

Project updates, when necessary, will be posted to the City’s website www.cityofasbury.com and can be emailed to you upon your request – please provide your email address to [email protected] or [email protected] . In addition, please feel free to contact Nate Stevenson with MSA or Asbury City Hall during construction if you have any questions, comments, or concerns regarding the project.
