The Asbury City Council identified the overlay and water main replacement of Meadow Court, Parkside Drive, Green Crest Court, and portions of Wintergreen Drive in the City of Asbury’s Five Year Capital Plan for improvement beginning in the spring of 2026. 

 The City of Asbury is working with MSA Professional Services (MSA), to complete the preliminary engineering phase of the Project.  The preliminary engineering phase includes preparation of a report showing basic roadway configuration, preliminary location of utilities, locations of other necessary improvements, and a preliminary construction cost estimate.  As part of the project, the property owner will incur a special assessment for their water lateral replacement.  The actual cost of the water lateral replacement will differ from property to property dependent on the length and location of the water lateral.  Preliminary special assessments amounts and details will be forthcoming as the plans are developed.

 A public information meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. at Asbury City Hall, 5290 Grand Meadow Drive.  The meeting will start with a project overview to inform residents of the scope and design of the project, followed by an open forum for residents to ask questions.  You may call City Hall at 556-7106 or email [email protected] with questions or concerns you may have regarding this improvement project.
