NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT AND ESTIMATE OF COST FOR THE MEADOWS CART PATH REPLACEMENT 2024 PROJECT

Notice Is Hereby Given:  That at 7:00 p.m., at the City Hall, Asbury, Iowa, on May 28, 2024, the City Council of the City of Asbury, Iowa (the “City”) will hold a public hearing on the proposed plans and specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost (the “Contract Documents”) for the proposed Meadows Cart Path Replacement 2024 Project (the “Project”). 

The work for which bids are asked includes the following: Full removal of asphalt cart paths and construction of 7-feet wide, 5-inch thick reinforced concrete cart paths at the Meadows Golf Course located on Clover Lane in the City of Asbury. Additional bid alternate options related to cart path removal, replacement, and construction are also included with the project. Consideration of awarding bid alternate options will be dependent on the results of the OWNER’s evaluation of available funds.

A copy of the proposed Contract Documents is also on file for public inspection in the office of the City Clerk. 

At said hearing any interested person may file written objections or comments and may be heard orally with respect to the subject matter of the hearing.
